oXFORD pOLO CLUB 3/6/12 What a strange winter, I can count the days we saw frost on the
ground on one hand. The days I wore my warm Sponge Bob footie pajamas anyway would take all fingers and toes. Mine are the
deluxe model that has a Velcro flap, facilitating my 4 nocturnal visits to the potty. Anyway... back to the weather. I intend
to fertilize the farm soon as we may have seen our last freeze. Even if we get another freeze, I wont mind cause then I wont
send my letter of apology to Al Gore for his stupid theories. If I do have to send my letter it will be in the form of an
email as he is so welt acquainted with the internet. You should know as well I have been bored out of my mind in the off season. Top three things I do to burn time till polo season starts? #3....Play Words with Friends with my wife, sitting next to each other on the same couch arguing over words like tater. #2...Check the Ocala Star Banners Mug Shots of who got arrested each night just hoping to see one of you... again. And #1 ....Turn the AC down as low as it will go to simulate winter, light a fire in the fire place and pretend to be on American Idol with my 3 legged kitten Sparta.(aka Clamdigger). I am usually the contestant and Clamdigger is Steven Tyler. Good thing that polo starts soon cause no matter what, Clamdigger only gives me 1 thumb up. Here is what to expect. Oxford Polo will start March 16 and continue until May. 26 See schedule below on what weekends that we play both Fri. and Sat. You may play either day or both. Friday March 16- PRACTICE CHUKKERS 4 PM Saturday and Sunday March 17/18 - Shamrock Lucky Leprechaun Cup. 2-4 goal 2 day tournament - first round on Sat. @ Oxford and Finals Sun @ Powers. Oxford games @ 11 AM and 12 PM, Powers games @ 12 PM and 1 PM BBQ to follow the last game of each day. Bring a side dish, Meat ProvidedFriday and Saturday March 23-24- CLUB POLO Friday 4:00 Saturday 10:00 Saturday's March 31 and all April and May. - CLUB POLO - Enter your team or just get placed on one. We will have 2 tournaments and two levels of polo each weekend. (Slower Game and Faster Game) Reserve chukkers and preference. Club info for 2010 Oxford
